Bespoke peaked caps, side caps & forage caps
We design and produce bespoke peaked caps, side caps and forage caps for officers and other ranks across all branches of uniformed service.
Our peaked caps are constructed to the highest standards, with quality materials throughout, including structured crowns, patent leather or fabric peaks, cap bands, chinstraps and full internal linings. We produce caps for both male and female personnel, each pattern designed for a correct and comfortable fit.
For ceremonial and senior officer use, peaked caps can be finished with embroidered peaks, gold or silver bullion wire work, and bespoke cap badges. We work with skilled embroiderers and badge makers to produce caps that are ready to wear straight from the box. Complete bespoke uniform berets and caps with integrated insignia
One of the advantages of working with Selcraft is that we produce both the headwear and the insignia that goes on it. This means we can supply complete berets and caps with badges, buttons and other fittings already in place.
We design and produce bespoke uniform cap badges and beret badges in die-struck metal, with a range of finishes and enamel options available. For ceremonial headwear, we also produce bullion wire badges and hand-embroidered insignia.
By handling headwear and insignia together, we can coordinate materials, finishes and placement to deliver a finished product that looks right and stays right. There is no need to source components from multiple producers.
Head sizes and fit
Proper fit is a basic requirement for any item of uniform headwear. A well-fitted beret or cap looks smarter, sits correctly, and is more comfortable to wear over long periods.
We supply berets and caps in a full range of head sizes. Orders can include any combination of sizes as required, simply tell us the quantities you need at each size and we will produce accordingly.

We manage every project from first conversation to final delivery. It starts with a detailed consultation where we discuss your requirements, headwear type, colours, materials, badge design, quantities, sizes and delivery timescale. If you are starting from scratch or working from reference samples, photographs or an existing item, we are happy to guide you through the options.
Following order, pre-production samples are available on request, giving you the opportunity to check materials, fit, colour and finish before committing to a full production run. Once you are satisfied, we proceed to production with strict quality controls maintained throughout.
We ship anywhere in the UK or internationally, and we provide accurate production timescales from the outset so you can plan accordingly.
Ongoing supply and straightforward reorders
We keep detailed records of every commission including materials, colours, specifications, artwork and tooling. When you need to reorder, we have everything on file to produce an exact match of your original order.
